About Amy Boutwell, MD, MPP
Dr. Amy Boutwell is a nationally-recognized leader of efforts to transform healthcare delivery to improve quality and reduce costs.
Dr. Boutwell attended Stanford, Brown Medical School and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, from which she received the Robert F. Kennedy Award for Excellence in Public Service.
Dr. Boutwell has served as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow in Boston, a community health worker in San Salvador, and as a volunteer at Mother Teresa’s Home for the Destitute and Dying in Calcutta.
Dr. Boutwell was trained in internal medicine primary care at Massachusetts General Hospital and took care of patients admitted to MGH and Newton-Wellesley Hospital for 20 years. She is board-certified in internal medicine and a certified menopause provider.
