Advisory Services

Sometimes what a patient/family needs is guidance, coordination, and a clear understanding of what is happening and options. This is especially true when there are numerous specialists involved, or when there have been several ED visits or hospitalizations.

For families with this need, I am happy to serve as your advisor to clarify a plan moving forward if you find yourself in a confusing, overwhelming or otherwise frustrating phase of your healthcare. Think of this service as a complement to your primary care physician. 

I will work with you and those who are involved in your care to understand the situation, collaborate with involved parties, and advise on a path forward based on what is best in context of your goals and preferences. You receive the time, attention, home visits, team meetings that your primary care physician would love to offer, but can not provide given the constraints of today’s standard insurance-based practice model.
